Groovy Guitar Groups
This year, we have decided to start some groovy guitar groups!
Over the past few years, we have noticed how musical our Belmont Public Students are, so we thought we would give them something new and exciting to learn! The response has been overwhelming and our groups are full to capacity.
If you are a part of one of these guitar groups, please make sure you remember to bring along your guitar, picks and display folder every week.
If you hire one of the school guitars and you would like to take the guitars home over the holidays, don't forget to pay your hire fee for Term Two this week.
If not, please bring your guitar into school this week.
What a great Term 1 with all of the little groozy guitarists!
So far, we have learnt three chords and are busy learning how to change from one to the other with ease.
They are Am, Em and C. With these three chords, we have started to learn Count on Me by Bruno Mars.
Keep practising over the holidays and i look forward to seeing you all back in Term Two.
